You can take a ride on the monorail. Another thing…when you get to the monorail, ask to sit up front and you can get a “co-pilot’s license”. This is great fun and always puts us in the mood…if we aren’t already! (If you want to ride the front of the Epcot monorail, just be the first one to ask the cast member when you’re at the TTC. You’ll be advised to sit on the purple bench at the far left. That’s the bench reserved for the front of the monorail, four guests, total.)
Finding Hidden Mickeys throughout Disney World – http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/ - Go to the parks Guest Relations and ask them and they will give a list of all the Hidden Mickeys in all the parks and resorts.
Take photos of the Walt Disney World entrance sign over the road
Stop and listen to the music throughout the parks – but the pools are quiet – and go look for the source of the “bush” music. Monorail soundtrack is also a unique sound.
Wake up calls if you are staying onsite – put it on speaker phone when they call. It’s typically a character that calls you.
Here’s a fun route to try:
From Hotel, take the **bus** to the Magic Kingdom.
Take the **resort monorail** from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian.
Go to the marina at the Grand Floridian and take the **resort boat** back to the Magic Kingdom.
if there at Grand Floridian at night, walk down to the beach and watch the lagoon parade and the fireworks
Take the "bus" back to your hotel
Go to Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge
between 9pm-11pm on any night. The cast member guides out on the savannah lookout area have “night vision goggles” they will let you use (free) to check out the animals roaming around at night! Note: these are almost the same type of goggles the military use on night exercises so it’s like turning night into day when you look thru them
decorate cookies daily at 1:00 at Boma
4:00 pm - Culinary Tour of Jiko or Boma
Camp fire with Chip and Dale at ft wilderness – bring your own marshmallows - you can also purchase smore kits
Sing along with Yehaa Bob at Port Orleans Riverside – Wednesday through Saturday nights – www.yehaabob.com
