Navigation Tips

Early Entry:  1 hour before Early Entry starts, line up at the Main Gate.  30 minutes before Early Entry starts they let you into the park.  You will head to the ride you want to do first.  You'll wait in line till the ride opens, which is typically 5 minutes prior to Early Entry.  Note, the wait time signs are not correct.  They set them for what it will be when the ride opens after Early Entry.

• If you bought the Lightning Lane for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, then head to Slinky Dog in Toy Story Land.  To get there go straight towards the Mickey & Minney Runaway Railway then go slightly to the right.

• If you didn't buy the Lighning Lane, then head to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.  Go to the left.  Take a left at Keystone Clothier.  Take the path on the backside of Echo Lake.  Take a right at Star Tours and go past Muppe Vision 3D

How to Navigate the Park:  

• knock out as many rides as possible with Early Entry.

• Use Genie+ to guide you to the main rides and knock out each land when your there for that ride.

Best Bathroom:  Marisaberg or Pizza Rizzo.  Worse Bathroom:  By Star Tours

How to end the day:

• Fantasmic! Typically rides are not open after the show starts.

• Walk by Star Tours and listen to the Ewok Village 

• Go back to Batuu (Star Wars land) and take more photos as it's beautiful at night.

• Best place for a drink:  Baseline Tap House or Olga Cantina

• My Quick Service Restaurant Suggestions:  Ronto Roosters in Star Wars Land or Woody Lunch Box in Toy Story Land

Fun Facts

• Hollywood Studios used to be called Disney MGM Studios

• Roger Rabbit scene is above Hollywood & Vine - Eddie Valiant's office and Roger Rabbits silhouette is there.

• Outside Back Lot Express is a large black car from the 1940's and it's the weasels car

• Inside Back Lot Express to the left is the Benny the Cab from the Roger Rabbit movie.  There are photos that show how they used this vehicle to make Benny the Cab

• At the end of the Hollywood Blvd, there is a statue of a filmmaker with the old MGM Studios logo “The world you have entered was created by the Walt Disney Company.  Not a place on the map, but a state of mind.”
